I reached a career milestone this year. I’ve worked on 50 BOOKS. A couple months back, a potential client asked me how many books I’ve worked on. I actually didn’t know the answer off the top of my head, so I went and counted and realized I’d hit the 50 mark at some point this

I’m a compulsive Merriam-Webster entry looker-upper. Ensuring consistency and being aware of industry standards are vital parts of my job (and you can’t trust MS Word’s spell check). I even look up entries to words I think I already know. Because you never know… Earlier this year, after looking it up in M-W, I learned

Today sees the release of A Tale of Three Cities, written by Elana Gomel, published by Epic Publishing, and proofread by me. I posted about this a few weeks ago, but today’s the day this is sent out into the world. A Tale of Three Cities is a truly unique story. I recommend it to

Don’t get scammed. More than once this year, I’ve been contacted by someone requesting editing work who I could tell was trying to scam me. Here’s how I identified that. They were offering to pay me an outrageously high rate for very little work. They said they would only pay once I returned the work

“As a first-time author, I highly recommend Timothy Repasky for proofreading. Not only was his work on my 270k-word novel thorough and detailed, but he is also professional, kind, and pleasant to work with. He was very flexible and understanding as I learned the process. I look forward to working with him again.” This review
