It’s Thanksgiving this week for us in the US, so I wanted to give thanks to all of you.
This has by far been my best year since becoming an editor. I’ve worked on more manuscripts than ever before, been more financially successful, and most importantly connected with the most people. Whether they be clients, potential clients, fellow editors, or publishers, my professional network has exploded this year. With no signs of slowing down, I see only continued growth for the foreseeable future.
If you’re a client of mine who’s hired me to work on your manuscript, thank you for trusting me with your labor of love.
If you’re a potential client or someone who I’ve connected with in even a small way, thank you for giving me your precious time.
If you’re a fellow editor, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your professional network and coming into mine. I’m sure I’ve learned something from you, and continued learning is a vital component of success.
If you’re a publisher who has graciously brought me into your freelancer pool and offered me work, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your team.
I love, love, love what I do, and I fully intend to do it for the rest of my professional life, so if you’ve been a part of my success in any way, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Happy Thanksgiving
Timothy
