Let’s Learn a New Word (5/11/21)

Wanna learn a new word today? How about gossamer? Merriam-Webster has three entries for gossamer. As a noun, gossamer either means a film of cobwebs floating in air in calm clear weather OR something light, delicate, or insubstantial. As an adjective, gossamer refers to something light, delicate, or tenuous.

This word came up quite often in the book I just finished reading, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, which I recommend.
