If anyone’s looking for a fiction editor, I know a guy. (It’s me; I’m the guy.)
My name’s Timothy and I’m an editor with a special focus on fiction, with fantasy being my favorite genre to work on. I freelance for several presses including Kirkus, Felony & Mayhem Press, DartFrog Books, Epic Publishing, and Vine Leaves Press, but I’m always looking to expand my personal clients as well. I’m currently booked for the rest of 2024, but I would love to start chatting now about working with new folks in 2025.
I offer a free sample edit prior to accepting your manuscript; this way we can both see if we’re a good fit for one another. I’m well-versed in Chicago Style and I diligently craft a style sheet for each manuscript I work on, which helps ensure consistency in everything from character and world details to grammar and spelling preferences and everything in between.
Copyediting and proofreading are the services I’m currently providing, but if you need a developmental editor I can absolutely direct you to a great one.
