It’s February 1st, 2022, and my year has been off to a slow but absolutely acceptable start.
In the month of January, I copyedited a blog for someone whom I work with regularly. I then started my newest venture of editing a text game for a games company I am super excited to freelance for. I just finished a proofread of a novella for a client whom I worked with last year. I recently started working with a new client who is supposedly going to be sending me steady work. And I’ve also been copyediting articles for the games magazine I help out with.
January started out slow, and when I sat down to write this post I hadn’t realized that things actually had picked up as much as they did by the end of the month. I am grateful for all the work that comes my way, but I am itching to sink my teeth into a bigger project. The largest thing I did last month was the novella, and that only took a week. I’m definitely looking forward to getting my hands on another novel soon.
I also have another prospective publisher who I hope to start freelancing for in the near future. I can’t wait.
